Service Agreement Models
Find The Best Model For Your Needs
Training Agreements
Our “standard” 3 day hands-on training course will deliver you the basic concepts of successful management, and how to integrate key principles of Agile into your organization; and you can take it from there. This course also serves as a great refresher. We’ll touch on all of the concepts raised on our Services page.
We can customize training based on your needs. We don’t stop there, if you need help implementing any of what we cover, we can coach you through the implementation using another one of our agreement models.
SOW Engagements
We can perform a Time and Materials assessment of your organization and processes (the people, fit-for-role, your processes, organization structure, execution structure, etc.) with a transparent and detailed report of our analysis. The T&M estimate will be provided after our initial consultation to understand your requirements. Assessment costs will vary based on the size and complexity of your organization and how wide you need us to go. The initial consultation, by the way, is done at no cost.
The next phase after assessment, if you need us, is to engage in a T&M SOW for the implementation of your organization’s improvements. An estimate of the implementation will be provided as part of the assessment phase.
This is our most flexible engagement. Purchase a tier of support hours that entitles you access to our services when you need them, for any reason whatsoever. Most SSRs are paid in full up front with hours debited as we perform work. The benefit of the SSR is that it offers discounted rates by paying for our services up front. SSRs are managed by total hours purchased over a defined period of performance.
SSRs are offered in various tiers, with larger discounts offered at our higher tiers. SSR hours expire at the end of the period of performance, or can be rolled over if a new Service Support Retainer is signed for an equivalent or higher tier with a defined Period of Performance.
Firm Fixed Priced Engagements
Honestly, this is our least favorite arrangement, but we do understand the need of our customers to have controlled and predictable costs, while managing risk. These engagements require well-defined and closely controlled scope. FFP engagements are typically preceded by a T&M discovery engagement to ensure we can adequately define scope to mitigate scope creep, and to understand our respective financial boundaries.
