What “Cliste” Means

Cliste

“Clever”

Cliste is a word from the Gaelic language meaning “Clever” or “Smart”, which is both an acknowledgement of the founder’s Irish roots and more importantly how we view developing relationships with our customers.

Further, we are Agile at our core and apply Agile practices in the way we work. Since Agile has been referred to as “smart working” we feel “Cliste” truly reflects our approach to working with our customers.

Triskelion

“Strength” & “Forward Progress”

The symbol we choose to represent Cliste is called the Triskelion, an ancient Celtic symbol with a complex and varied etymology. We chose the interpretation of the three spirals representing motion moving outwards from its center, to be most representative of our approach. The motion of each spiral builds strength from each other and symbolizes forward progress. We build strength through our customers and together we move forward leveraging each others’ strengths.

The Celts also believed that everything important came in threes. Each each arm of the spiral represents something important, for us that is: Customer, Outcomes & Agility.
